Description
When: Saturday, May 27th, 2023 at 9:00 AM Packet pickup and race day registration begins 7:00 - 8:30 AM.
Where: Damariscotta Mills Fish Ladder, Bayview Road, on the border of Newcastle and Nobleboro

Cost: Pre-race registration $30 per runner. Race day registration $40.
Age 14 and under free!
Discounts available for local school track and cross-country teams, as well as employees of sponsors.
Course: An out-and-back 5K on gently rolling paved roads. Bayview Road to Belvedere Road, with turn around at Oyster Creek. Water station at the turn around.
Awards: Cash prizes for overall first place M/F finishers, as well as age categories 14 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60+

Other Amenities: Run with the Alewives is right next door to one of the coolest fish ladders in all New England! It is the perfect time of year for the alewives to be seen in their annual migration to Damariscotta Lake to spawn.
